Participants will learn how to respond to disclosures with empathy and without judgment, understand the legal and ethical considerations around confidentiality and reporting, and reflect on their own role in supporting someone through trauma. We’ll explore common myths and reactions, what not to say, and how to hold space while staying within one’s boundaries and scope of responsibility.
