Good Night Out is seeking an experienced non-profit Administrative Coordinator for a 30 hour a week position to support our growing organization. This is a temporary position to support the day to day operations of Good Night Out across our core program areas.
The important stuff:
Hours of work: 30 hours a week. The majority of these can be flexible with some fixed weekly meetings. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Location of work: This job is primarily remote with the option to work in our shared community space in Vancouver on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Skxwú7mesh and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ people. Applicants will be considered outside of Vancouver, with demonstrated knowledge of anti-violence work in the province .
Pay: 25.00 /hr + 4% in lieu of benefits. $30 / month phone/ tech stipend.
Good Night Out is going through a period of growth and are seeking to bring on an experienced administrative coordinator to support us during this time. The successful candidate will play a valuable role in keeping our education and outreach work across multiple cities running smoothly.
We are seeking someone who is:
detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
able to work without direct supervision
adept at handling multiple priorities across projects
experienced at working independently, as well as a collaborative member of a remote team consisting of paid team members and volunteers
experienced in establishing and using workflow and organizational systems
able to flaunt some graphic design skills (aka: has comfort with Canva!)
Skills and knowledge that would be an asset:
Knowledge of setting up and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management platform
Work experience in similar environment (small, grassroots, growing nonprofit)
Understanding of intersectional feminism and experience working in anti violence is a bonus!
Typical Responsibilities will include:
Scheduling Workshops and meetings
Completing new partner intakes
Managing inquiry emails
Engaging with stakeholders through newsletters and social media
Taking minutes for meetings
Planning and preparation for Annual General Meeting
Assisting with Program Evaluation
Assisting with final Grant Reports to funders

For transparency:
This is a temporary posting with work guaranteed until Dec 31, 2024. 30 hours a week are guaranteed until June 2024. During the final 6 months of this posting hours may drop to 20 hours a week, pending funding. There is a possibility that this position will be renewed beyond Dec 31, 2024, again pending funding.

A Swiss Army Knife, but a Human!
Good Night Out is going through a period of growth and so we are seeking someone to help us out with a variety of things, tasks, and to-dos for the next 3 months. You are an organized multi-tasker who is down for a little bit of everything.
The important stuff:
Hours of work: up to a total of 35 hours a month. The majority of these can be flexible with some fixed weekly meetings. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. This means that regular access to a computer and wifi is required.
Location of work: Good Night Out does not have an office and so the work will take place in a variety of workshops across the territories of the Lekwungen peoples.
Pay: an honorarium paid monthly equivalent to 22/ hour.
We are seeking someone who:
is able to work without direct supervision
is adept at helping with multiple priorities across projects
is experienced at working independently, as well as a collaborative member of a remote team consisting of paid team members and volunteers
can get around Victoria via car, transit, bike or other form of transportation
We expect that this temporary contract position will include the follow tasks on a weekly and / or monthly basis:
Supporting our workshop program (scheduling, logistics and facilitation support)
Assisting with table / info boothing at events
Creating content for our social media channels
Answering email and social media inquiries about services
Delivering materials (posters, promotional items) to partner establishments
Attending organization wide meetings
For transparency:
This is a temporary 3 month posting. It is paid out on a monthly basis. No deductions will be taken off. The successful applicant is responsible for reporting earnings to the CRA
