We are looking for enthusiastic people to help support our street team and foster community safety in Vancouver from June 11 - July 19 2026, during the World Cup celebrations in Vancouver.
Working in a team setting you will be providing outreach to patrons and community members of Granville Street, Gastown and False Creek. In this role you will be paired with a staff member as you engage with people in the public realm and offers support when needed such as assisting with getting a safe ride home, handing out water and snacks, being a liaison with community services charging patron’s phones, chatting about consent in nightlife, bystander intervention, and whatever else the shift may hold.
Hours of work: Varying dates and times between June 11 - July 19, 2026
Location of work: Vancouver, occupied and unceded ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh people. Primarily in the downtown core
Pay: This is a volunteer position with a $50 Honorarium for each 4 hour shift worked. Paid out on July 30th.
